Covering a total area of 350,000 square meters, the Interporto di Trieste provides 160,000 square meters of infrastructure areas, including 30,000 square meters of covered warehouses for domestic and international goods storage in compliance with ADR and HACCP regulations, 50,000 square meters of open yards, and 80,000 square meters of parking spaces for heavy vehicles. For railway services, there are 6 tracks available, divided into 2 operational sections.
The facility also offers 5,000 square meters of office space, accommodating over 30 shipping companies, the Customs Agency offices, and areas dedicated to support services for operators.
INT aims to become the reference inland terminal for goods originating from/destined to Far East countries and the Mediterranean basin, utilizing the Northern Adriatic ports for distribution to Italy, Austria, Bavaria, and Central-Eastern Europe, with connections to the Tyrrhenian Sea and other areas in Italy.
